A panel of industry experts will share useful tips on graphic design elements that capture attention, copy write principles to guarantee an effective message, and how to avoid printing pitfalls that can cost you time and money. Each of these components plays an important role in the perfect package.

  • Brian Doemer is the General Manager of Sir Speedy Printing and Marketing in Sarasota and is responsible for operational management and business development of the organization. This independent, family owned franchise is consistently ranked in the top 10 of all Sir Speedy franchises internationally, and in the top 100 of all quick printers in the United States. Brian joined Sir Speedy in April of 2004, bringing capabilities in management, sales, marketing, and business development. He Doerner holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida.
  • Cody Maple is graphic designer from Memphis, TN who in May of 2008 from the University of Memphis with degrees in Graphic Design and Foreign Languages. Three months after graduation, he was hired by the Ringling College of Art and Design as a full-time graphic designer in the College's award-winning Design Center. Cody is responsible for a variety of design tasks at the College, from redesigning and creating the College magazine to supervising student workers on video work to creating all collateral for the esteemed RCLA Town Hall speaker series. Cody's work at the College has won several awards in his short time there and he has helped to raise the level of design on some of the College's projects while at the same time being able to work within small budgets.
  • Scott Kolesar is a Senior Account Executive with Clear Channel Radio of Sarasota since 2005. Scott is a graduate of The University of Connecticut and he holds a BA in English with Department Concentrations in Creative Writing and Broadcasting. Scott has previously worked in advertising agencies as a copywriter, editor, proofreader and public relations representative, assisting clients in retail, financial, medical, industrial, and many other categories for both business-to-business and consumer marketing. He has also worked as a freelance feature writer, and in radio has held positions in programming, promotions and production.

We encourage you to pre-register through PayPal for our events. CANCELLATIONS must be received by Noon two business days prior to our event date as guarantees have already been made on your behalf. Cancellations must be emailed to rsvp@cwcfpra.com.  Cancellations not received as indicated will be charged the full member or non-member registration price of the event.
