The Florida Public Relations Association has been serving Florida public relations professionals for more than 60 years. With chapters around the state, FPRA offers an abundance of resources that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of Florida professionals.


The Central West Coast Chapter is made up of nearly 100 members from Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto counties. The chapter offers a wealth of leadership , professional development and networking  opportunities to suit any member's needs, preferences and jobs.

*Please include a resume and the application fee with your application.

When you apply, the board of the CWC chapter will review your materials for approval. Application reviews take place only two times per month.  All materials (application, resume and payment) must be received before an application can be reviewed.  Sponsor signatures will be collected by the VP of Membership.  You will be notified when your application is approved by the board.

The Central West Coast Chapter hosts a professional development luncheon meeting on the third Tuesday of each month.
